Post Hi!
Thought I should probably introduce myself! People appear to be quite friendly so I will try and pop in every now and again to say hello!

I work in Durham (UK) as a code monkey and like to dabble with hardware (but I'm no expert!)

Currently throwing together a windows home server and an upgrade to my main machine - should look like this:

Home Server:-
Antec 300 Three Hundred Black Case - No PSU
AKASA 120mm Amber series 3pin Ultra quiet case fan
OCZ ModStream 520W Modular PSU
Pentium D 805 (cooled by Zalman (CNPS9500-LE) Cross Platform Cooling Fan)
Asus P5WD2-E Premium 975
4* Hitachi Deskstar 250GB
4 * 1GB, Ballistix 240-pin DIMM

Main Machine
Zotac 9800GT ECO Edition 512MB GDDR3
Arctic Cooling AC-FRZ-7P Freezer 7 Pro Socket 775 Processor Cooler
Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Socket 775 (3.0GHz) 1333FSB 6MB L2 Cache Retail Boxed Processor
Crucial 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1333MHz/PC3-10600 Ballistix Memory Kit CL6 1.8V
MSI P45D3 Neo-F Socket 775 8 channel audio ATX Motherboard
Coolermaster 460W eXtreme Power Plus PSU - 20+4pin 4+4 ATX12v 4x SATA 6pin PCI-E
Antec P180
1* Western Digital Raptor Sata 150GB
Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi Xtreme Music

Should keep me busy tonight!

Anyway enough of a ramble - nice to meet you all!

Ross

Glad you made it over to the meeting place.
Things can go a bit crazy here but it's all fun.

Feel free to join in with anything that's here (the 24 hour random rubbish thread is in full swing at the moment)

Welcome, pull up a mushroom, pass the twiglets and make yourself at home

P.S. BobbDobbs has a bit of a complex where John_Vella is concerned...J_V is made of Awesome  I think the Dobbinator is afraid to admit that, but his counselling should help. He's right about HK and Sas though.

Do you have to keep them warm? Or are they grown in the fridge?
