Full-on assaulting a member of staff is different to harming yourself or others indirectly (Richard Bacon, Russell Brand). He did HIGNFY a while back didn't he? His contract wasn't renewed (rather than him being dismissed for gross misconduct), that was always a nice getout if they wanted to hire him for something.

On the other hand, is HIGNFY a pure BBC production or is it made by an external production company? (No idea, I haven't seen it in over a decade; but I have a feeling it was Hatrick or something?)

Yes suing is not criminal charges and the incident happened late at night after Clarkson had been drinking and he was provoked by hunger. I know what I'm like when I'm hangry.
