Hi,
long shot i know but here goes. Work have just installed proximity switches on all doors. They are going to get some static and pullout lanyards (eventually). My problem is that these won't work for me as I have to carry stuff through the doors. Does anyone know of anything that I could attach to my wrist instead? I don't know what to search for . 'wrist lanyard thingy'?

hope someone can help
thanks

I was in a similar situation a few years ago, and I used an anti-static wrist strap with the card attached to the strap using velcro.

this is a little fob, about the size of a £2 coin, too small and too light - just the right size to loose really easily lol. I will have a look at the anti static bands

crack the fob open, fix the active part into a ring/wand/watch
et presto!

How about the holders bouncers use to hold their card against their upper arm?

If there are any skiing shops near you, you might want to ask there. I've seen things like you're after to keep ski lift passes (which these days tend to be RFID fobs or paper tickets with QI codes on them) in.

Or the wrist pouches that American Football players use to hold their play cards?
