I've had my current Dyson DC24 for the past 12 years and it has been excellent. It still works but it's beginning to show its age a bit. We went out to buy a cleaner before the last reduction in power and ended up buying a cleaner which was under the new limit, even though we were looking to pick up a bargain in the over the new limit class. To be honest, it has superior sucking power to the old one, which was a 1800W job.

We bought a DC02, which lasted 14 years. Unsurprisingly, we replaced it with a DC19 a few years ago.
