Why did they never do a boxset of all six films?

Because they can charge more for two separate box sets (and several different versions of each) than they can for a defnitive full set.
Maybe they'll do all 6 on blu-ray or something (or, please god no, a 3D blu-ray boxset with added binks effects).

Because too many purists wouldn't buy it because they think the prequels are [LIFTED]. Which is of course, not entirely true.
