God, have those judges not made their minds up yet?

Britain has taken a significant, although largely symbolic, step closer to Brexit after the MPs voted by a majority of almost 400 to back Theresa May’s plan to trigger article 50 by the end of March.

First it came for the Marmite, then the Toblerones - now Brexit will cause the price of Lego to rise in the New Year.

Prices on the eternally popular brick-building range will increase by five per cent in January. The Danish toy company has confirmed this is due to currency fluctuations caused by the UK's vote to leave the European Union.

A popular brand of pink wafer is under threat after a company went into administration following a "sharp fall" in the value of sterling after Brexit.

Administrator FRP Advisory said a "sustained deterioration" since the EU vote had exacerbated Rivington Biscuits in Wigan's financial difficulties.

EU reveals three-stage Brexit plan as Schulz admits he UNDERESTIMATED impact of UK exit.The European Union (EU) is working to create a three-stage Brexit divorce plan to help smooth Britain’s exit from the EU, it has emerged. Outgoing president of the European Parliament, Martin Schulz, voiced his support for the plan as he revealed the EU would be seriously weakened without Britain’s membership in his most revealing Brexit confession yet. Michel Barnier, the EU’s chief Brexit negotiator, has been given the thumbs up to press ahead with the model – which will consist of withdrawal, transition, then forging a “new relationship”.

Theresa May has promised to set out her proposals for a "truly global Britain" in speech on Brexit in the new year.

The prime minister also told MPs that Parliament would get a "proper opportunity" to discuss her plans before negotiations with the EU start.

She "fully" expected that these talks would begin by the end of next March.

And, in testy exchanges with Labour MP Yvette Cooper, Mrs May defended the inclusion of overseas students in net migration figures.

Mrs May also said she hopes that the "main parties" in Northern Ireland will form a government as soon as possible in the "spirit of unity".

Work has started to dry up in my line of work, a lot fewer new enquiries. We'll have to see how it goes after Xmas.

I kind of question this is due to sterling falling, a bit. It's entirely possible of course but I'm not sure such a business would be a massive exporter - they seem a rather niche British thing to be honest - and the ingredients can't be hard to source domestically. It seems to me the popularity of a so typically 70's British biscuit might have been on the wane for some time so maybe this was coming anyway. Also possibly the Dutch parent company didn't fancy having to deal with running a probably rather small beer operation outside the EU from inside the EU and saw it as a way to drop their responsibilities. Which does make it a casualty of Brexit, just in a way that doesn't make for as easy a headline.

EU leaders not that arsed about Brexit Very much of a "we'll talk about it when the UK decides to actually DO something" mode, it appears to me.
