The rules:

* Voting occurs for one week until midnight on the 7th Dec.

* Please vote for your favourite three images.

* You cannot vote for your own image*

Your 1st choice will be awarded 5 points.
Your 2nd choice will be awarded 3 points.
Your 3rd choice will be awarded 1 point.

If there is a draw on say for example 15 points, then the image with the least number of votes will win, such that an image with 3 votes for 5 points will defeat the image with 5 votes for 3 points. It won't be the '2nd best' for everyone, but it will be the 'best' for the few. If it's good enough for a Grand Prix then it is good enough for here.

Please try and keep this thread for votes only, it will make it easier for me to tally up later. If you must comment on images and decisions then please do so in the original thread (once it is unlocked).

This thread will run for 1 week only. At that time the winner will have the option of choosing the next theme, and the deadline for entries to that theme will be the end of the current month.

After many months of servitude I've decided to hang up my competition moderator hat. It seems recently I haven't had time to do much photography let alone this competition (my own 52 project is three weeks behind now) with moving house and other "fun" so I'm happy to pass the baton to someone who has.

Sorry to hear you're hanging up your boots Veato. Can you be convinced to do December? Then it could be new year new management?
I'll certainly think about it but I need to make sure my computer at home behaves itself before committing to taking on extra stuff.
