Of the ones I watched first time round my favourite was Sylvester McCoys doctor.
Unlimited rice pudding!

Peter Davidson was far too nice IMHO, I'd put Colin Baker ahead of Davidson.

I actually remember seeing the very first episode on our green and green TV.

The alleged name of the new doctor is out there if you wanna go look (saw a bunch of people complaining that The Scum ruined it for them, so...). The vast majority of people on Twitter seem to hate the choice! Tbh, I can see why... But then you never know with these things.

Too soon after another TV series that he was in that seems to enjoy an ever changing cast for me.

I am absolutely loving this current season.
Every episode so far has been a cracker.

Michelle Gomez is leaving at the end of this year.

Having a bit of a natter about this with a mate, has Missy made any references to the Harold Saxon version of The Master?
Speculating that Missy could be the previous version to John Simm's version.

:(
I really like Michelle Gomez. Missy has been a very engaging adversary for the Doctor.

Well, I'd rather fallen out with the show in the past while but being required to be in on a Saturday night for a once, I thought I'd give it a go.

And I was very impressed. That felt like proper Doctor Who. Menacing, sophisticated, thoughtful, funny, horrible. Fantastic ideas bought together with genuine skill at the end. It felt at one point like Douglas Adams could have been involved, and yes that is a massive compliment.

There has been H2G2-like incidental music in places.

You have to ask - what the AF has Moffat been doing holding out on us like this?

I too have drifted away from it, and haven't yet seen a Peter Capaldi episode. I really ought to give it a go a some point.

Peter Capaldi is the best Doctor since Christopher Eccleston.
Why people haven't been watching this Doctor is beyond me.

Agreed. Pity Ecclestone didn't stick around for a couple more series.

Well, y'see, if they haven't been watching, they don't know. :P

No argument here, although I'd wager that same statement would go over quite differently in the F1 paddock. ;)
