So far, 10 people have voted in the photo competition stuck at the top of the page.

Voting closes at midnight tonight (that's Monday, if you're reading this tomorrow :) ), so if you care get on up to the thread and choose your three fave images.

There's no mass appeal, it shouldn't be a sticky in the meeting place. ;)

No seriously, move it to the photography forum!

It has always been part of the meeting place.

+1

I'm of the opinion to move it from the MP would make it even less popular than it is now. The idea has been to encourage everyone to have a go, no matter what their kit or skill levels.

Oh god, have you just got old foggy? :?

It's usually old people who come out with points like that. "But that's the way it's been done for 20 years".

No we don't... I did raise this very point within a few days of moving into the new house, (when we were still sorting out the curtains and carpets) and there were a few very good reasons given as to why it should remain in the meeting place.

:)

Here's one reason: only about 10 of us frequent the Photography forum. The whole idea of the original thread was to encourage as many people as possible to try their hand at entering.

Of course, if no-one cares, it'll just wither and die. I, for one, would be saddened should that happen.

Incidentally, where are the new curtains and carpets? ;)

Yes it would. I don't think it'll happen though, as people do read the threads, and I'm fairly sure that more people, (myself included) will start entering... when we remember to buy film for our camera's!

I meant the new logo and stuff. I assume it's still going to happen.

Wouldn't the new logo come under the category of "Photos/Paintings" ? :?

For the first time in ages, I have voted.

I must confess that liking photography and not owning a camera does make the competitions somewhat frustrating...
