A bit obvious and crap? Also badly exposed and blurry. Actually I think I'd like my entry to be anonymous

And the votes from the Chatham jury are in.

1. Heaven Can Wait
Quite true, with a view like that. The almost invisible seated figure makes it for me, I think.

2. Waiting for the Green Man
This one is fun. It makes me smile. Especially that endless line of mopeds.

3. Waiting for the Stars
I can relate to this, because I've often peered from a window in anticipation of a glorious show of a night.

Well, in spite of having to move home in the midst of it all, a good round. Well done everyone!

1. maybe this time
It's a great picture, and he's waiting for a fish. So is the doggy, although he probably isn't sure why!

2. waiting for the call
They're really not waiting, but it's a nice picture. I'm a sucka for Gothic imagery.

3. no name yet ( waiting for take off?)
Mostly just because I want one

3. Patience Patient.

Some nice pics this month, but very few that conveyed the theme to me well.

Im not sure about this photo comp to be honest (lots of debate and arguing to follow I presume ;) )

I understand there's a theme to be interpreted but surely as it's a photo competition there should still be some element of producing a decent image, no? Ok so its for fun and not going to be graced with 'pro' pictures but looking at a few of the voted for images, quality is - sorry I'm only being honest - terrible, with barely any effort in the actual production of the photo itself.

On the basis this is a bit of fun then it is what it is but I'm finding it hard to call it a photo comp.

Personally, I do look for an attractive photo that matches the theme well. I ignore quality issues due to the equipment being used, but do value equipment being used as well as it can. I think it was Chris who has got some very nice shots from his camera-phone in the past, before he got his DSLR.

The original idea was to encourage people to go out and take photos without making a big issue of their kit.

I like that concept: you can take it on a mobile or top end DSLR, and it's given equal merit in the competition. It's the interpretation of the theme that counts.

;)
