You could try Autotrader as well?

I would try Autotrader first purely because of the very high charges eBay levy.

Make sure you clean the car before taking a good photo of it - get much more interest.

Inside and out before people see it.

Was looking at Autotrader, think I'll give it a good clean and polish then stick it up on the corner of the road where it’s busy and see it grabs anybodies attention.

I would not do that - might as well put a sign-up saying "steal me" at the same time or just asking to be vandalised.

There hasn't been a car round here yet that hasn't been vandalized after being 'put on display', and I'm talking about scumbags taking a hammer to every bit of glass the car had, usually

Fcuk me I'm glad I don’t live in your neighborhoods......

I've left it outside a friend’s house on the service road next to a main road, his going to bring it into his driveway at night etc etc so should be fairly safe, his sold a few of his old cars in that way and hasn’t had any problems so I’ll give it a week or so then advertise it......

If you do put it on eBay it would be wise to put that the final price is non negotiable, to often there are stories of the winning bidder trying to haggle the price down when collecting by finding any minor thing to moan about..

I've sold my last 2 cars on eBay and not had a problem. My dads also just sold the car I had before moving out here and has had no issue so far (touch wood).

I've also bought a car from eBay and had no issues, I'd say it's a pretty easy way of doing things.

I gather it was collect only and you didn't have to try and wrap them up and get them to PO

Yeah it was collect only, I didn't think it was fair on the poor postie to make him carry my car in his bag. ;)
