Now that cafepress ship from the UK as well I'll be adding all our existing tat & new stuff with logos to the store I've got on that site. I had it all planned before to use them until I discovered they wanted to ship from the states and charge stupid amounts for postage. |

Why do you need an app for these forums, surely you can just view it on the iPhone's browser. |

Because with the browser, you need to pan and zoom all the time. For all the "Safari makes the iPhone a wonderful web browsing experience" talk, it is a pile of junk compared to a laptop or desktop. It is useful for getting information on the move, when you don't have access to a normal computer, but it isn't a replacement, especially on sites like this, where you will be posting a lot. That is where Apps come in, the display the information formatted specifically for the iPhone, with larger text and tools designed specifically for posting on the forum, without having to constantly pan and zoom to edit text or hunt down the submit button. Mark: Yes, he did. But it requires a new module for phpbb to be installed AFAIK. |

Mugs will be happening, no worries about that. All the people who said they'd help (apart from Alun) haven't produced anything for the site. Rick (Assasin8or) started work on some stuff but then got swine flu & that's the last I heard of him. I'll have to text him later to see if he's still alive. The plugin module thingy will be added, I finally got the verification email from the company the other day. I just need to work out where it goes & if it's going to break anything on this (or potential future) templates. |
