Does anyone watch it?

I've been watching it recently and just caught up to season 4.

I have to say, I don't like the new Ruby.

I've been watching it from the start. I love the show. Though I have missed a couple of episodes as I didn't realise it started at the beginning of Jan.

Yep. New Ruby's a bit of an Ezri vs. Jadzia thing if you ask me (one for the geeks).
Well excited for the conclusion of season 4. They've done a great job of continually improving the show since it's inception and I wanna know what they intend to do.

Also, no spoilers as to the character for anyone not there yet, but I think the guy playing Cas is superb and he's a really fascinating character.

I'm on the second ep of season 4 now.

I like the Cas guy too although not seen much of him yet.

So far it's been a very cool show. Can't wait to see how this season unfolds.

Ooh Meg!

I just saw the end of season 5 tonight on LivingTV.
Did anyone else catch it?

Not last night, but yes. Loved the narration and the bit about endings being hard. Clever stuff from the writers. However, it was almost a little too epilogue-y. That said, I can't see they had much choice given the climactic eps. Almost seems a shame to renew it really. I though it was a fitting conclusion for the boys and the final frame although interesting, could've been done without.

Overall a superb end to a superb show, despite the few holes and season 6 on the way.

So tell me, was the writer (in the show, cant remember character name) supposed to be the anthropomorphic personification of God?

I suppose you could see it that way. But I don't. Not only was he an extremely cool storytelling tool employed by the shows writers, as a character he represented the connection between God and his vision, and the world "below". Often his prophetic visions were used as both gift and curse in the show and God's vision did not always work out. That's how I saw it. But I think it's highly subjective.

I was so annoyed when Living got Season 5 so us Freeview viewers were denied watching it. :x

Hasn't LivingTV always screened it first in the U.K?

Yep, I'm pretty they've always had it before ITV.

So what do you think about Chuck? Did you think he was God?

Personally no. I think he was a modern day prophet. That was until I read this and went.... 'huh'.

That link that veato posted pretty much sums up my whole thinking about Chuck (heh, now why didn't I remember that name?) in that episode, so I can really say no more about it.

That's the problem with reading stuff though innit?!

Takes all the subjectivity, observation and discussion out of art. TV is just the latest victim. But as nobody will care about what I'm saying, I'll shut up and go away!
