Well, it's a very average TV show but not worth throwing out (I think it's a grower).

Anyway, does anyone watch Supernatural?

Alastair in Supernatural (the angel in the raincoat) is played by the same actor as John in Sanctuary (that tall guy who can teleport)!!

I'd never have seen that if I hadn't looked it up!

Oh, not really.

I was thinking of the wrong angel.

I think the guy in the raincoat is Gabriel isn't it?

Dunno, don't watch Supernatural. He's very genre though - he was in Stargate Atlantis for a good while. With hair. I'm fairly sure he was in ST:TNG as well.

I quite like Sanctuary. Or at least I did; I'm very much not sure about the darker direction they've gone with series 2 so far.

I agree with the first half of that sentence, but not the latter half.

Supernatural on the other hand, that's far from average.

I think I got about 3 or 4 episodes in - certainly to the point where they tried to convince us that Amanda Tapping’s character was supposed to be British. I dunno - sounding a bit like Dick Van Dyke and swilling tea does not cut the mustard this side of the Atlantic. She might as well have stuck with her Canadian drawl and left it at that.

I gave this series a more than a chance to prove itself more than it appeared to be. It failed.

Warehouse 13 is kind of slipping into disinterest too.

What worries me even more is when people confuse an Australian accent for a British one.

I often wonder when the Yanks get the time to watch all these shows - God knows how many of them don't even make it over here

Deliberately avoided that, in expectation of disinterest. Fringe is the only show in that department (and many others in fact). Genius.

Is Fringe any good? The first 12 episodes are on BT Vision to watch but I dont know If I can be bothered making time for another average TV show. I've already given up on Flashforward.

That's a drastic understatement.

Season 2 builds well from the first's climax. Very well written and has an overarching mythology like that of Alias or Lost, but is far more fascinating from both a character standpoint (the relationships and backstories are superb) and also for the pleasant mix of arc eps with standalone stories.

In other news, just finished ep2 of season 5 of Supernatural. Wow.

Think i've seen ep5. Maybe ep6 of Supernatural. Interesting storyline to say the least!
