Sounds good in principle to me as long as they're sensible about it - packaged enough to avoid damage, not using so much cardboard it outweighs the benefits etc...

So what do you think? ;)

It's not cardboard I dislike, it's that horrible plastic the manufacturers use that you need a chainsaw to cut through and will draw blood the second you touch it.

Whilst it sounds like a good idea, what I disagree with is that people will be able to see what's inside and would possibly lead to more packages going missing. In fact it almost sounds like Amazon are charging a fee to keep your purchase a secret. Almost.

Who would like yo advertise that they've bought a new piece of hardware to the general public?!?!

If it is the same packaging Amazon have been using in the US since last year, then it is enough to protect the products. They use cardboard boxes instead of the vacuum packed plastic s**t.
