I can't post to the youtube videos thread - I keep getting this.

Were you trying to post any unusual symbols. :P

Reference to JJs problem posting a formula recently.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

It seems to happen from time to time - I'll try to copy and paste just a block of ordinary text (no fancy squiggles) from a site and no dice, come back later with the same job, all's fine :?

May be the other site fixing their end of course :)

I've had a slightly different problem of late, occasionally when posting it will just take me back to the Post a Reply screen without actually doing anything. It's not that there's been another post made, and it doesn't add the contents of what's been posted either.

No idea on that one.

Did you press preview by accident?

While we're at it, FF sometimes blocks a pop-up from the forum... though that's a lot more trivial ;)

No, sometimes it would even do it several times in a row. Normally required going back to the main forum board and then back into the board / thread to get it to post. Most of the time it's fine though, it's just once in a blue moon that it does it.

I have had an unresponsive server problem but usually a refresh solves that.

I find it happens if two people are posting at the roughly same time. The person running second is sent back to the screen as though you had pressed preview instead. I used to close tabs as soon as it looked like the post was successful, not anymore, I have to confirm.

I occasionally get a failed CSS content is there but all messed up but a refresh generally sorts it. I can't remember the last time I had errors as such.

I know, and at first I thought it was something from another site that was running in another tab, but it happened one day when X404 was all I had running - it wasn't the usual annoying pop-up, more like a code error or warning or somesuch. I'm guessing something more to do with Firefox or it's settings? :?

I'm clueless when it comes to these matters
