Harley

The newest addition to the Mac family. He's a 2 year old cross collie and was found wandering the streets of Forres. We have him on a trial basis but he's a really nice dog, well trained and very obedient. The boys haven't met him yet - that is going to be a surprise for them :D

No collar or microchip?
He looks like he's in very good condition from those images.

If that's the case then I'd suggest it's you that shouldn't take your dog to the airfield.

He's in excellent condition Mark and I've just got a bit of a nagging feeling that the owners might turn up and claim him back. I work in the same department as the dog warden and he told me that the dog was reported to him but he couldn't catch it - this was over about a week. The RCPCA finally got hold of the dog and took it to the kennels. It was rehomed after nobody claimed it but the youngster of the family developed an allergic reaction to the dog so it was returned. Lucky for us :D

Bratty - don't worry, we need to train him to return to us first. Then he can come down the end of the runway and take pics with me :D

Jon - that image is suitable for work, it's your mind that's not... ;) actually, there are a couple of shots that are defo not suitable...

Aye, and get it to learn not to scrap with other dogs. I hope you don't take it into the shops, Bratty, as that's just rude.

its only if she gets sniffed at too much or pestered or barked at right beside her, shes got really short fuse with dogs ;) shes only bitten two kids in her lifetime (and they fully deserved it) and she will be 11 years old next year and still mistaken for a puppy ;)

And ye she does goes right "into" the shops as shes very welcome and is gifted with dog treats every time, Its not rude atall  She goes into butchers, newspaper shops, coop, bars, currys electrical store to name but a few 8-)

Hmmm. I guess I didn't quite mean that last bit. I was thinking more large, super-sized chains when I said it.

No child deserves to be bitten. The fault lies with the parents for failing to educate their children about the reactive nature of dogs and you my friend for failing to control your dog. Simples (don't you just hate that saying???).

Only time will tell who is the more active but my hope is that the dog tires out the kids and vice versa :D
