I saw this on Friday.

Amusingly this minister is the same one who has been claiming for womens clothing and toiletries on expenses (see the torygraph for details).

Away from the Jedi thing (nice observation btw), I have to say I agree with the principle that if you fight for this country then you have earned the right to live here. Amazing that with all the controversy over illegal immigration, the Government has managed to pick a fight with one group who has served her majesty's forces for often very significant periods of time.

Lets have an election (random off topic - please don't completely hijack the thread [sorry paul]) and let the Gurkha's stay.

Not only that but they are outcast from their original community IIRC

Is she a Jedi, or a Sith? Definite force application there, but remember; a jedi uses her power only for knowledge and defence, never for attack ;)

Surely she is defending a group who are weaker than she is (at least as far as getting agreement from politicos goes). Sounds like a Jedi to me. :D
Still it will do no harm to keep an eye out and make sure she doesn't turn to the dark side.

Look at her eyes and her stare. Not to mention her utter lack of diplomacy with everyone from the press to the PM. Sith, I'm telling you!
She might be championing a good cause, but what's her endgame ;)
Imagine sending her to negotiate a settlement with the trade federation......
