I do kind of have to agree. It always struck me as very much a 'twittering classes obsession' in very much the old sense of the phrase. There are thousands, possibly millions of prostitutes in the world. Some of them probably do very well out of it, quite a lot of them do very badly. It seems to me the blog became a bit of a cause celebre not because it was saying anything particularly interesting or insightful but because it allowed people who thought they were more genteel than the masses to do something unashamedly voyeuristic while still being able to look down on your builder's labourer looking at Page 3 of The Sun. Basically, it's porn for people who think they are too refined for porn but are actually just too repressed. And Billie Piper really isn't all that. Jon |

You're probably right if a documentary I saw years ago was anything to go by - she burst into tears cos her dad got her the wrong ice cream or something ![]() |
