Morning folks.
Guess what? I failed my BSc Top up by a total of 14marks.
This means that I have failed my first year. So, ... errm ... guess I'll go get a job.
Yay, go me.
4328 (08091) M 20-SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT-FDA BUS&COMP TU....47 Pass 5474 (0809) M 20-DATA HANDLING FOR WEBSITES-BCTUFDA........45 Pass 4325 (08093) 10 PROFESSIONAL ISSUES-FDA BUS&COMP TU.........36 Fail 4329 (08091) M 10-LITERATURE REVIEW-FDA BUS&COMP TU........30 Fail
The lit review tutor hated me anyway, I asked what triangulation and she wouldn't tell me. Also, don't think the Prof Issues has been marked as thats the same as last time. Oh well.
Means the 5,500 words of my dissertation are now useless too.
Fat lot of bullsh*t and chips that is then.

Bummer, sorry to hear it Adam What's the situation? Can you not retake a few exams/coursework or modules? And if you're planning on just jacking it in, it might be worth fighting for a remark, if they are currently going to kick you out, it can only stay as that or get better...

Well, 4325 (08093) 10 PROFESSIONAL ISSUES-FDA BUS&COMP TU.........36 Fail 4329 (08091) M 10-LITERATURE REVIEW-FDA BUS&COMP TU........30 Fail Are remarks, you get one do over with a max mark of 40(a pass). Also, to clarify here I haven't wasted 3 years or anything. This BSc was a one year top up from my HND/AVCE. So I've only wasted a few months. I'll ask my ... err ... main tutor (no idea what else to call him) about it tomorrow and is he say "you're boned" then I'll say my goodbye and be on my way ... after I steal some books.

A bit gutting to be so close. Ah well, that's the way the cookie goes soggy and falls to bits like mushy zombie brains.
Good luck.

Oh that's a shame. If you do get the opportunity to chat to your main tutor, perhaps have a chat with admissions as well and see if there are any other options for you. Whatever happens, good luck.

If I get my job tomorrow, I'll pay you £10 a week to write a comic about whatever the hell you want. Until I get married, then I'll be broke. That might never happen though; a bit like the job

Well at least you didn't waste three years. A HND is still a good qualification.
