I haven't watch it for years, but for some reason, this year I've really got into it.
I know what you're saying though. Always having an X-factor winner releasing their first single so it'll be number one on Christmas day is getting very boring.

I didn't watch it either. But now my housemate has a new braindead girlfriend and every time she is at our house she watches that crap so I get few glimpses of it every weekend. Just yesterday I was watching Real Madrid playing Almeria when she came in and I had to change the channel for that stupid show

But wouldn't it be funny to have a Xmas n1 like RATM? That will be awesome
I am going to buy at least three songs myself just for fun of it...

Spread the word and BUY!!!

That's the spirit:

I watch it every Saturday. I even voted last week. 35p well spent, and to be honest I'd do a lot more than that for the nutty Stacy. She's really rather special :P

Admittedly, many of the previous series have been too painful to bare. However, I think it's matured now into a pretty reasonable talent show. The most annoying thing is the brain-dead audience drowning out the actually quite interesting judges.

I don't know if they tried it but I haven't heard about it before. So far there is 268000 people in the group. I this seems to be very well promoted, I have seen reports on Kerrang and NME websites. Lets try people!! Surely you can spare couple of pounds...

I believe music should be bought because you like it, not for political (or otherwise) reasons.
Sure, making music for political reasons is fine, but if this record gets to number 1 just because people that don't like the X Factor bought it as a statement of their not liking what's happened to the end of year number one slot in recent years, then this 'achievement' is no better that that which it's rallying against.

+1

Personally, I do my best to avoid and ignore any and all "reality" and "talent" shows. I am annoyed that news about them filters through to me anyway, since, as our US cousins would say, I could care less.

Damnit! I read the first post and thought to myself "I hate X-factor, but I hate Facebook even more" but let's read the replies before I start ranting and whadda you know... last post!

Also my kids like the X-Factor, (not that that's got anything to do with anything) but I agree with that the egg man and Heather said...

Aren't Rage Against The Machine the ones who sang "[LIFTED] you, I won't do what you tell me"?
