I replaced my aging Fiesta with a nearly new 1.4 Zetec model recently. It was registered in March on an 09 plate and is the new shape model. I have a query though. Does anyone know whether the heated rear screen that comes on automatically on cold mornings and nights is supposed to do so ? It seems to come on for about 10 minutes without any operator intervention ! I can't find any mention of it in the manual. |

http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/equipment ... eriv=40960 Looks like it with the quickclear glass (if you look closely you should see a lot of very fine metal elements in the glass OR Is the rear screen set to on? It might just be that it's set on and auto turns off after 10 minutes but resets when the car is turned off |

I thought they were Lada jokes... Why does it have a sunroof? So you know where the leak is coming from. |

Why does a Lada have a sunroof and twin exhausts? So you can use if as a wheel barrow. How do you double the value of a Lada/Skoda/other poor car make? Option 1 - put petrol in it. Option 2 - leave a packet of polo's on the dashboard. |

Is the fezza the new mk7 shape? Or still the old mk6? When my car broke down, I got a stonking new mk7 fezza with 300 miles on the clock. In some ways it was a lot better than my old mk4 fezza. Unfortunately, in some ways it was still reminiscent of the mk4. Still fairly nippy round down. I would have bought one if I were looking for a new, small hatchback. |

I've had Mk I, II and III Fiestas, and the most fun was the II. |

I completed my Driving test in a MKVI fiesta and swore I would never set foot in one again. Well...until the MkVII came out, now I'm going to buy one next year. Hobgob. |

It's the new fiesta. Yes..... I have the quick clear front sacreen too but this is the rear one. The thing isn't switched on by me but is definately coming on and demisting. I wonder whether it's a temperature related thing.... ie, less than 6 degrees the thing automatically comes on for 10 mins. I really don't know. |
