I've just finished setting up one of Kalena's XMas presents - an iPod Touch, and now she wants some games. Does anyone know where I can find some decent, free games for her new toy? Thanks in advance, John

I thought you could only install games with iTunes from the iTunes store, which means "where" is not really a question?

The thing is I really don't know... I've seen a few "free" games which are all web based, but I was hoping that something would be available.

They may be giving away free songs and games over Xmas on iTunes IIRC

On the iPod, connect to the internet, then open the App Store application. Once in go into Categories > Games > [pick genre] > Top Free
HTH
EDIT: You can do similar from the iTunes Sore within iTunes on your computer, except it doesn't split free and paid-for applications up in quite the same way unfortunately. When you sync your iPod with iTunes, iTunes will sync the new games over to it for safe keeping.

Yep, iTunes Store is the only place. Some websites advertise their games, but the download links always go back to the iTunes Store. Unless you jailbreak it, you don't have an option.
I've got very few games and, to be honest, most of them I've bought.
Styx is excellent, very addictive, trying to get all the medals. Globall is good, cost 79c I think. Papertoss (free version) is okay, a game definitely designed for the touch screen. I bought the World Tour version afterwards. ParaPanic (can't remember if it was free or not), land paratroopers on ships, don't let them get caught up in helicopter rotors, sucked up by aliens, or hit by lightning - or fall in the water and get eaten by sharks...

No idea, it is in English only, no German translation... But whether it is UK or American? I don't have iTunes installed on this machine, so I can't even post a link. I'll try and check it out, when I get home.
