Your point? If it makes him happy then, well....STFU (meant in the nicest way possible). To be honest foggin, I don't like it. I love your other three but I'm not a fan of watches with large winders (or whatever they are called) and buttons on the side, i like the watch face to be shaped around them. The only nice watch I have is a Citizen Black Eagle but I love it, will get some more fancy ones throughout my lift. I thinks its good, their arnt many things you keep your whole life nowadays.

I'm not buying it for you or anyone else Personally I don't wear watches. I consider them unnecessary jewellery. However, I do immensely admire the incredibly accurate detailed work that goes into making a quality mechanical watch so I can understand wanting one. I'd just be too tempted to take it to bits

I generally object to paying more than about £30 for a watch. Wear one all the time except when I'm asleep and there is a distinct possibility that I could pour solvent on it at work so I fail to see the point in spending a lot. Plus virtually all of the Casio watches I've had have lasted for about 5 years before I've scratched the face sufficient for me to consider a replacement.
In conclusion, expensive watches are very nice to look at but just not for me.

My phone tells the time fine, or I wear the one my gf got me, generally on a dressy occasion though To apple users need a watch because there isn't an app for that yet?

I have a black Baby-G casio with a velcro strap. I needed something with a stopwatch for diving to 40+M, that I could afford to lose. I don't like wearing watches on my wrist anymore so I wear it through a belt loop instead.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Had it since 99. Very light, the case and band are made of titanium (with crappy gold bits). Even after 10 years of wearing it 24/7, the glass is not scratched and the bezel has a few light scratches (I caught it on a couple of brick walls).
