Well I caught up on tons of washing and watched lots of movies. Lots of time snuggled on sofa under furry blankets.
Being John Malkovich - was OK, not fantastically funny as I thought it would be The Secret Life of Bees - wonderful Zach and Miri Make a Porno last night - hysterical! Highly recommend if you haven't seen it Beverley Hills Chihuahua - rubbish, turned it off
Got Max Payne and Surveillance Sky+'d to see

Worked on the new house, still not fully heated, engineer due back today... Fell over on the street, smacked my head on the road. Headache and big bump, sore neck muscles, but otherwise I seem to be okay.

Saturday we got up in time to hit 'Spoons for breakfast, then I had a contact lens check and we drove to my sisters to pick up the furry boys, then to my parents to pick up the fishy boys and got home before the snow started. We had chicken curry for dinner then my Mister set up the new shisha pipe and we figured out lighting a charcoal block without it disintegrating then smoked an entire pipe of apple tobacco together while watching Sin City. I got a tobacco rush for the first time ever and had to stop Sunday we woke up sometime in the morning (not sure when) and stayed awake long enough to see that the weather was terrible, so we went back to sleep again and stayed in bed until 14:00. Even after we woke up we stayed warm in bed while we had breakfast and eventually got up to do a bit of shopping before everything closed at 16:00. When we got home safe and warm again I got onto the bedroom computer and started typing up the holiday Diary until I got too cold, ran out of internets and decided to have a bath before bed.

Hmm, I wonder. I was busy, and it all went in a blur. In fact, today is the first day in about a week where I've had to time to stop and think.

Saw Survellance last weekend, was quite good, saw the twist coming a mile off though. Wondering whether or not to watch Max Payne. It looks good, but it's a film of a game and they're never good. We had friends over on Saturday night, so spent most of the day preparing food, then spent all Sunday watching telly and playing on my PS3. I decided to restart GTA IV as I haven't played it for about six months after getting stuck and couldn't remember where I'd got to and what the controls were. Having restarted it, I'm not sure I can be bothered to do it again. Either GTA IV isn't that great, or I'm growing out of computer games. I suspect a bit of both.

We're (hopefully) going to have a Jacob's Join in a nice hall with a bar. I f***ing hate wannabe-posh sit-down, dress-up middle-class receptions with posh food that nobody likes and that costs me a fortune and means that you only get to talk to the idiots on your particular table. Buffet ftw!
