I'm more of a Custom PC man myself, but then I don't care about printers, rack mount server, business software etc.
What are you looking for in the mag? What aspects of PC's are you most interested in.

I mostly build my own computers and play games

so I am after X v Y and other reviews

What new and in development

I buy Micro Mart a lot - mainly because it cheep! - but some of there computer builds - its like what drugs are you on boys

I just finished building my current computer (1,500 pounds and still have to buy a new graphic card - currently running window 7 with a 285 Nvida card) and better RAM - might throw in a new keyboard and mouse as well.

Custom PC it is!
Plus the price is kept down as there's no pointless CD on the cover.

Custom PC is my vote too.

Monthly, you can usually get a sub deal where the first 3 issues are for £1. Oh, you get a cheap toolkit too. Oh noes, you don't anymore you get a mug!

Buggers, I may have to cancel and start subbing again. :?

Oh, Bit Tech is the sister website to CPC magazine.

Yep. Once a month.
LINK

What different about CPC?
Their motherboard/GPU/CPU reviews etc are more in depth than most mags.
Their labs tests aren't done to a price point, they just each item in the test a value score.
They have guides on getting the most out of your hardware (ie overclocking)
Other than games, software isn't really covered (though they did do Windows 7 when it came out).
They have two free regular podcasts, one gaming, one hardware.

Personally I'd buy one copy to see if you like it. As luck would have it the new issue came out in the shops today.

Oh I see the toolkit is back. I know it's cheap but I've found it handy, especially the tweezers. Very handy for chasing motherboard screws around your case. :D

They're great.

I've taken them up on the 3 for a quid offer so often I have one of those kits everywhere useful, and still had to give some away

Aye, before I stuck with the sub I've managed to accumulate 2 toolkits (in case the GF got her hands on one of them and bits started missing :D ) and two of those CPC case badges. :)

Those offers are still on for all sorts of mags going by an email I got, so if anyone wants any links let me know :)
