Had a power cut from 18:00 for just over an hour yesterday, not a million miles from you but it did appear to be local. |

It's bound to be something to do with Doctor Who, as I'm fairly sure that nothing interesting happened there before he started visiting.

You are on The Rift, and Torchwood was destroyed, so who knows what could be going on. It’s only the SEP field that is stopping you from seeing the true devastation. |

We've had a couple up here in Aber. My lecturer was in the cinema when one happened, the spike blew the motor on the projector and when the power came back on the heat burnt through the film, apparently it was a really cool effect! Some cellotape and a new motor later and they were back watching the film! The same power out knocked out my external hard drive too  Luckily nothing important was on it...[url][/url]

I've not had a powercut today.  It must be at least a year since I've had a powercut, ignoring the one last week when my housemate blew up the microwave, and the breaker kicked in!
