Well, only a couple of weeks to go now until it starts. Having been to Vancouver/Whistler last year I'll be quite keen on watching it. I'll have to look into who is broadcasting what on which channel.
Is anybody else interested?
Personally I'm looking forward to the downhill skiing, snowboarding, downhill, ski jump and bob sleigh etc.
I'm not so bothered about ice skating or the long distance skiing.

I'll watch some events. Probably the ones more likely to result in injury like bobsleds, etc.

Televised sports have always bored me, especially since I don't care about them even when they've been played right in front of me ;)

I don't watch much TV atm, but if it's on and I'm free it's probably likely to be of a reasonable high ranking in terms of preference.

I'm an Ice Hockey convert. I recently went to see Nottingham Panthers and it was brilliant. The whole night too not just the game with stuff going on at the intervals and pre-match, etc.

Yep :) Ice Hockey is like rugby on ice, but faster. I like it

Well I'd imagine rugby on ice would be a slow, messy, shambolic affair.

You should watch a proper match that doesn't mainly consist of has been Canadians and Americans. ;)

Honestly, if you get to see matches in Finland or Austria I can vouch for them. They're frakking awesome. I got into it because of the GF, her dad's been an Ice Hockey Coach for years.

So, yes, what with the Ice Hockey and me being a Ski lover I'll be watching as much as I can. So long as we get knocked out early in the curling, that does my head in when it's on all the time.

Then there's the ski jumping, those ski board races (can't remember the name of them), skeleton bob, bobsleigh.... Can't wait.

Mrs2B. Bucket is coming up to live in a couple of weeks so I'll watch it if I've got nothing else to do.

I went to the 94 Olympics and saw two ice hockey games. One was in a stadium that had been carved out of a mountain. Very impressive.

I'll probably watch anything that involves going down hill and avoid all the stuff on flat ice. Except curling, which for some reason seems to mesmerise me every olympics.

Crown green bowling on ice.

Shame Speed Skiing isn't an Olympic event.
