Hi all, If I have a few components and I know their power needs, and I have a battery and I know it's power details. How can I calculate how long the battery will last? Many thanks, Ben |

Divide the Ahr rating of the battery by the combined current consumption in Amps of the components will give expected life in hours. For example, a rechargeable AA battery is typically 2Ahr and will provide 1 amp for 2 hours, or 2 amps for 1 hour. This obviously reduces the more the battery is recharged. |

current*time ? batteries are measured in voltages and also mah usually, milliamp hours, should be able to roughly calculate from that |

Thanks guys. I knew it was simple, but my head is frizzled and I wasn't sure how to stick it in to Google. Many thanks ![]() |
