Right, this is the vote to deicde the new forum logo! Dum dum dummmmm. Four choices. Winner takes all. gryphonveatosteve74 (2)steve74I understand that your favourite might not have made it, but please do vote as this is for the new forum logo. (We have also decided that some runners up will be used for various things in the future, so don't be too dissapointed if yours doesn't win) So, get voting.

I am having a lot of trouble deciding which one I prefer. I've narrowed it down to two, (both of Steves) but I'm trying to think not only which one would look best on the forum, but also for possible future merchandising/branding. That was mentioned somewhere else, wasn't it?
I shall ponder.

Steve 2 just beats Steve 1 to get my vote. They're miles ahead of the other two.

Curses, my favourite didn't even make it through to the final.

I still think that if Steve 1 wins, we should have it in blue rather than red. I like the current forum colour scheme.

Doesn't that just go to show what a fair and honest chap you are?

Which ever wins, we need a favicon. THIS site can generate one based on the winning image.

This is one reason I voted for the last option: It'll drive Windows users slightly balmy

the favicon Okay, the Windows X looks better as a favicon. So I want Steve 2 to be on the forum and a blue version of Steve 1 to be the favicon.

Personally I prefer favicons with a transparent background, but I'm confident Steve will be able to come up with some good ideas whatever is chosen. I'm still bemused by the entries that made it through to the final. Seriously; how the hell can something knocked up on a free logo design website in 5 seconds beat Robin's professional entries which weren't even selected. It's supposed to be a competition, not a lottery PS - how many times did you edit your post

A lot. I kept producing different size and designed favicons. Turns out the browsers use 16x16 pixels.

If steve 2 wins... can we still use steve 1 for mugs and t-shirts, cos its the best merchandise one... (my opinion)
