Some say it is the best netbook in the world.

Is it something you would buy? Not cheap at £650 but a little beauty of a PC

So is it for you?

No - it won’t run my mission critical applications, which are only on the Mac platform.

All netbooks are a waste of time.

I don't want it, it's got too many ports, supports Flash and it's screen isn't proper HD. What a waste of time, nobody in their right mind will buy this. What's it for?
;)

(but no, I don't want a tiny laptop.)

Cali Lewis seems to rave about any bit of kit the PR departments of various firms push under her nose. You won’t see Jason Bradbury doing that.

Or will you?

underpowered, undersized,

That is my view as well. They are great for a short while. I would rather have an iPad. Crazy I know!

Ah, but the iPad won't have any stickers at all. So it is bound to be good. It is well known in this part of the world that there is an inverse relationship between quality of hardware and the number of stickers emblazoned upon it.

does that include stickers put on by the owner? Because my computer has lots of case badges and stickers that i put on it, will it go faster if i take them off?

:D  :P

I absolutely hate using the term 'form factor' cos it sounds horrible  , but that's precisely the reason I got a netbook. The girl opposite me in work just bought one (actually, must stick that in the bargains thread), and another colleague is considering one for his wife.

They're just the right size to be useful IMO - mine's is often to be found on the edge of my work desk when I should actually be working  , and then it doesn't feel like I'm carrying luggage on my back for the two mile walk home if I decide to do that :)

You can do most of the things you generally do with a laptop I find :? , and I never really understand the complaints about them being too small if a gorilla like me can use one for hours at a time
