The gf and I are disagreeing on what time it is. To me Half Two means 14:30, and to her 13:30. How about you? |

I know in some European countries they say the time is "half an hour to two" (or whatever). But in English, half two is either 14:30 or 02:30. No confusion. |

A look around wiki shows quite a few europeans and german/american get confused with out way of doing it. As the gf is one of these 'europeans' it would explain a lot.

Here in Germany, it is "half way to two". Confused me, when I first came over from the UK. I kept turning up late to appointments!
