after having received 154 "spam", they were all blank and all from the same number, texts this morning I spoke with Vodafone.

A couple of interesting things came out of that.

One is that you cannot "delete all" texts in a folder ( in box ) on my phone. 8-)

The second being you cannot block a particular phone number and nor can vodafone. 8-)

So has anybody developed an application for mobile phones that allows you to block a number ? :?

It turned out that the person responsible worked for a company where I know the MD

Is there any chance that it could be that this persons phone has developed a fault and he may be unaware that it is doing this?

I would consider contacting this person, (via text, obviously ;) ) to make sure that this is not the case... unless there is a back story of which we are unaware...

My ex is always phoning me by mistake. Or rather, her hand bag is.

I usually phone back and tell her to lock the damned keypad.

Oh man, wouldn't it have been better to talk to him direct?

I think I'd be a bit annoyed if my phone accidentally pranked someone and they went and got my big boss involved right off the bat.
:?

Reading the O.P. I think it's his ex-boss, and we don't know the relationship between the two of them. maybe the MD is still mates with this guy, and just had a friendly chat...

I had / have no idea who it was. I only had the fact that it was a phone on a corporate account and the name of the company. As the phone was going straight to voicemail, the easiest thing to do was get his company to sort it out, Its not an issue just a pain in the arse.

I think his boss has got him a new phone
