Quick question....just out of curiosity. Why is the x404 server based in the US?

Why is it a problem? And why were you looking anyway? :?

The only time I've ever bothered to do a few whois's's'sss'ss is when a site has been really slow.

If memory serves from when Saspro set it up, he simply had spare capacity on a server that he could use.
