This can be because of cost, realising you'll never use it/it's a bad habit/missus said 'No!' etc.

As per the Mars bar thread, I've quit the vending machine in work, which should be good for me in general ;)

I'm also about to quit the two comics I still read* each month, since those are now £3 each for reprints of stories that are about a year old at least

So, what have you stopped purchasing?

* Batman and Superman. Gave up on the Marvel ones when they hit £2.60 a throw and there's loads of those :(

I used to buy at least one bottle of coke a day. Now I maybe get one a week.

I try not to buy anything too fatty now because I'm trying to shape up a bit for a holiday.

As for the holiday, I bought the flights this month so I haven't really been able to buy anything since then :D

I've cancelled a few magazine subscriptions, purely to save a bit of money.

I'm thinking of taking one out with Private Eye  , already got one with Empire but it was really cheap, and won't take another one out unless it's a really good deal :)

I'm trying to cut down on the first two myself, but what's the deal with the third?

Petrol. What with being a student, petrol prices and the very suspect fuel leak in my carburettor, I just can't afford to fund my car's ridiculous binge-drinking habits. :x
