Just watching Friday Night with Jonathan Ross and Jay Z is one of the guests. I've always liked him and he didn't disappoint this time. He seems like a genuinely nice guy. He doesn't put on this hard guy, gangster act like the likes of 50 cent or whoever. I don't mind his music also. What does anyone else think? Also, lucky guy for being married to Beyonce! |

I did hear a story that he visited Ice-T's house, and was shown around Ice-T's car collection. He asked why all the Rolls Royce's had Bs on them. |

I saw him at Wembley stadium - he was absolutely incredible! Love Blueprint III, but think the black album is still my favourite. All in all - a 10/10 musician, and deserves to be the record holder for most number one albums. 11 number one albums!! ![]() |

As a guy who grew up from not much and is very clever (I doubt a music producer can be that dumb) he might be putting it on a bit |

That's what I meant by humour. He is sometimes very funny when interviewed but seems to be it without realising it. I guess he must be putting it on like you said otherwise he wouldn't be a millionaire rap artist married to Beyonce. LOL Bratty, no, never really listened to 2pac. I've only really got into R&B / rap stuff in the past few years. |

Got that one and I really like it. I prefer it to his newer stuff. |

He does seem to be genuine. He rhymes about real stuff some of the time and although he's not quite as philosophical as say Common, Kanye, Mos Def, Talib Kweli and others, his skills are pretty legendary. I also love the Black Album, but I have favourite records on most of his albums. He's clearly an extremely clever guy and when you listen to Kanye rap about him it gives you a further insight and more respect for him. However, Oli, if you just got into it, you missed the golden years. Check out real hip-hop from the 90s. |
