I just got a random text at quarter past midnight on my personal phone. It just says " Hi x "

Number ending 231570 - anyone recognise it because I don't :shock:

I did think about ringing it, but it's probably just a mistake :(

My mate decided the other night, while mildly inebriated, to text a number left on the inside wall of a toilet cubicle, only to be given the reply 'f*k off' [sic]. To this he replied "Well, if you post your mobile number on the wall of a pub toilet, what did you expect?". No reply yet. :-)

I got one of those a few years ago. A number I didn't recognise on a new(ish) phone, so no chance of it being someone I knew that I'd forgotten I'd given the number to. So, being in a mischievous mood, I played along and sent a reply.

I think it went on for about 2 days before the other person realised I wasn't who they thought I was. :lol:

Has he considered the possibility that the number might have been posted as a prank by some young scallywag having a lark at someone else's expense?
