As you will know, my dad had a period of hospitalisation and some fairly major surgery. It’s update time. The update is that he’s far more mobile than he was over Christmas (when the snow and ice kept him inside even though he wanted to get out). He took his car out yesterday. That’s how well he’s feeling now. I was wondering how long it would be before he got back into driving. He’s also walking quite a way now, so evidently the recovery and return to normal health is happening very quickly.

Fabulous news indeed, I was seriously expecting the update to be a lot worse, glad to hear of positive things happening.

All things look good for a much better year for him now. He also (finally) took full retirement last October (just before things started to get really bad), which means that he’s got the time to do what he wants to do, rather than try to fit it in.
Bratty - he’s got shorter hair than me, about collar length.
