I have an up and coming stag do to plan, which is starting to get on my nerves due to a lack of ideas. The provisional plan had been to go and see John Mayer in London, but the tickets have sold out. I'm desperately trying to think of something that doesn't inevitably lead to a complete piss-up.

Help!

Yes but some people are complete idiots after a few drinks and anything can happen, plus he may be a fully paid up member of AA (not the car club ;) )

Am a fully paid up member already. I never was one for getting hammered once I hit eighteen. Did all that when I was a teenager, and saw the state others got into.

That would be me.

So the groom tends to stay indoors and play on the computer ;)

EDIT: I've been through my music collection looking for other artists, half of them are dead and the other half aren't touring at the moment.

So have some mates round, get a curry/pizza/chinese/something else tasty to eat and play games all night.

The last stag do I went to was at a dog track. I was actually there celebrating a friend's birthday, but there was a stag do and a hen party going on. It's quite fun and there's beer and food.

I hate to agree with something that sounds so unadventurous, but I find this kind of do much more fun than the usual getting plastered in various clubs.

Erm, it isn't one of these things where you're getting married the very next day is it? You strike me as more sensible than that :? ;)

Shouldn't your Best man be organising all of this? :?

He will be doing most of the running round, but as he put it "it needs to be something you want to do", and I can be a hell of a fussarse at times!

I think we might just go for the gig on the Wednesday instead, it's not actually going to make that much difference for most people I don't think.
