Fell asleep during ep2 the other night (catching up on iPlayer) although that was me being knackered and not the program being boring. Will resume my catch up on Thursday night. I quite like it so far. Will be interesting to see where the story goes.

I'm loving season two of The Expanse.
The best sci-fi I've seen in years.

I believe not in the UK officially yet. IIRC it's scheduled to show up when the TV run finishes in the US, which I suspect will be roughly the end of April. It is of course available unofficially.. It is very good (haven't seen this week's yet though) although it seems to be doing a lot of 'set up' in the early episodes of this series.

Hmm, this isn't good. The Expanse is on Netflix and Archer is on Netflix. at this rate I might actually have to sign up. I've not seen The Expanse series yet (other than the odd YouTube clip) but the first book in the series (Leviathan Wakes) is absolutely excellent and I gather they've made a decent effort to broadly stick to the book(s).

They did - Series 1 is only roughly 1/2 of the 1st book

Yes, I gathered that from the fact that certain people are still alive in Season 2. Also, aside from the odd radio communication, you don't have many people from the UN/Earth in the first book and the Martian Marine character who's been in the Season 2 trailer doesn't show up until book 2.
