Just been to see this in 3D. It was a really good film and the story was really moving (quite surprising considering the trailers I had seen).

The 3D was FRACKING AWESOME though! I have never felt so much like I was actually IN the film! The last 3D film I saw was Harry Potter 5 a couple of years ago and it was only 3D for the last 15mins.

This was completely different! The glasses were really comfortable as well. I wear glasses anyway but I could wear there on top of my own and they didn't bother me at all.

There was also a cool O2 advert at the beginning in which we had to steer a ship through an asteroid belt by raising our hands (left half of the audience steers left, right half steers right). I thought it would be a pre coded thing with no actual interaction but it was actually working. I was watching the audience and the film and it only steered when the majority of the audience raised their hands!!

I can't wait for more 3D films! AMAZING!

The story almost had me in tears at one point also. Very good film.

I wasn't so impressed with the film that I would be truly bothered about seeing it again- unlike Finding Nemo and The Incredibles, but it was good.

The last time I went to see a 3d film, the stereoscopic glasses made my eyes hurt.

Nemo, Wall-E and Toy Story are I think the best, yet to see Up, but have it in my 'to watch' folder, erm, at the cinema.

Haven't seen "Up" and probably won't until it comes out on DVD. My favourites that I'll happily watch over again are "The Incredibles" and "Monsters Inc"

I was amazed how sad the film was, and how many issues it dealt with in the space of about five or ten minutes...Good film though, I only saw it in 2D

I was absolutely in bits. Cried my eyes out frankly. It really got to me. Absolutely AMAZING experience. The movie really spoke to me on a personal level and I think there's some of that for anybody who sometimes wishes that they could change their life. Also watched in 3D and have to agree with Oli - no issues with regular specs and definitely the best 3D experience I've had. My favourite Pixar by a long way and the short at the beginning was really funny and heart-warming.

Best bit was, I presented my ticket at the Disney store next morning and got a free UP pin to remind me of the adventure.

Absolute must-see IMO.

i saw it in 3D too, the specs fit over mine well, but its a shame they are so big, since they get in the way: its the first movie ive watched with my girlfriend where weve actually watched the movie

It's on my to see list too. Unfortunately don't have the cash to go to Cinema at the moment.

Its my first 3D experience 'proper' at the cinema. I was blown away. I could not believe how good it was. Its not just the odd 3D scene either, the 3D really integrates well into the movie.

The film itself is cracking. It was a quiet screening when I went but there were a few parents and kids. I swear I was the only person laughing. As in some previous Pixar stuff there's probably stuff that goes over the kids heads but I felt I'd get more out of this film than a kid. I think thats a testiment to how good it is. I didnt cry as some seem to be saying. There's a sad monent but I didnt find it tear worthy. The ending wasnt either I thought. I'm not some hard faced bloke who refuses to cry at films either. Brilliant film though all round.

There was also a Pixar short at the beginning in 3D too. This was brilliant too and gave a nice little introduction to 3D before the main film.

Go see it, its brilliant. And for those who've watched 3D films in the past and thought it added nothing to the expereice then see this one in 3D, it really is worth it.

Spare a thought for those of us ,well me can't do this 3d thing ,only got one eye.

You're not the only one mate. Technically I have got two eyes, but this stupid brain of mine disregards most of the information from the left eye, so the 3D stuff doesn't work for me either.

I have the exact same issue J_V, but I didn't find it a problem when I watched "Transformers" at the iMax with the fancy specs, it was awesome!!

JV, at the opticians when they do the polarised lasses thing I have 0 awareness of things coming in from my left eye.

It makes no difference for things like this though as if it did then in the real world you would have no sense of perspective etc...

I thought I would struggle to "get" the 3D effect but it really does work.

Seeing different images through your left and right eye is what your brain does every day. Your brain then translates the images into depth of field and 3D-ness. Give it a try, if it doesn't work Zippy will refund the ticket for you
