If you can wait until Exeter to eat I can recommend a fair few places, I think I've eaten in over 90% of the restaurants there, really depends on what you fancy, so more guidance required ![]() Honiton has two decent places that I know of. There's a place called Boston Tea Party which is pretty good, mostly a coffee shop vibe, and there's a deli further down called Champers Deli. Haven't had many lunch level things there, but they did a staggeringly good bacon, sausage and black pudding sandwich (I mean better than most butchers) on home made bread. If you're around in the evening would you fancy meeting up for a swift one? I think I finish work at 5:00 on Friday and will be in the middle of Exeter at that point. |

Well i wouldn't bother with Bath except if you definitely coming into the city centre... Coming by car to Bath is most difficult |

Well as I live just outside Bath there is no way I was intending to have lunch there.
We will end up about 20 miles North of Exeter so never actually come that far south.
That has potential. ![]()
Can I come back to you on that one - it all depends on what time we need to be at the falconry centre. |

The only place I know and can recommend is The Jack in the Green Inn. It might be a bit close to Exeter for you though. |

I've not been there, but I've heard increasing reports that it's a shadow of its former self. |

There's a place called Boston Tea Party in Bath (by the little Sainsbury's, Flan, the theatre, Pizza Hut, etc.) that sounds like it could be part of the same group as the former. And the latter is just making me hungry. NOT FAIR! (¬-¬) |

Yeah, it's a very small chain. There's one in Exeter as well and a couple of other places. |

That's a shame, I've always loved going there when I go shopping in Exeter, but haven't been for a couple of years. |

Boston tea party sounds good in Honiton. Need to be on site soon after 4 so won't be able to get to Exeter for a pint ( which is a shame ). Feedback next week. ![]() |

Boston Tea party In Honiton was where we had afternoon tea in the end. Eat most of our meals here. http://www.fivebellsclysthydon.co.uk/index.html The reason for the visit was this. fantastic if you get the chance to go. http://www.yarakbirdsofprey.co.uk/index.php Eagles are very very big when they stand on your hand and look at you to see if you are their next snack. ![]() |
