Just wondering, since Brawn GP did a stonking job this weekend.

Yeah, I had a look for a race thread. Was going to start one myself, and prepare to receive the usual "hey, dumbass, we already have a thread" reply.
Fantastic result for Jenson and Brawn. Interesting to see Ferrari make a huge improvement, maybe they'll take heart and stop bleating on like a spoilt brat, and threatening to take their ball home.

I don't normally like the Monaco circuit, mainly because it's more of a tactical event than a race as such.
Best Beloved and I watched qualifying yesterday and sat through the race today, and enjoyed most of it. I felt a bit for Barrichello, though. He's always been playing second fiddle to his team mates. I understand from the commentary that there are no Brawn team orders, and both he and Button are racing each other - which is great to see, to be honest. Sadly, this time round, he didn't quite get the best run in the early stages, and Jenson was off and away before he could recover.
Loved the bit at the end when Jenson forgot he was supposed to stop in front of the royal box and had to sprint from parc ferme! Classic.

Yeah sorry about that. I usually start one but I've not had a chance to sit down hardly all weekend. Had to record the race so wanted to stay off the forums incase there was a thread title spoiling. Great race though, get in there Jenson.

Great race by brawn, got me £10 casino chips for tomorrow to play with too I find it funny that typically the least exciting (in terms of overtaking) race in the year is decided first then the other events around it

Brawn hadn't even brought a tux with him as he didn't think they'd win

How many more wins before it's safe to assume that Button's won the champion ship? 5 or 6?

He needs to be more than 10 times the number of races left in points ahead of second place.
At the moment he is 16 points ahead of Barrichello with 11 races to go so it's still his to lose.
