http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/8158556.stmIs it just me or does it look as though he's been raiding TV Chef Keith Floyds wardrobe?

Ruuubish! I was all excited about Matt, but I hate that outfit. Oh well. I suppose I'll have to wait to see if he fits it or not.

I think it’s the bow tie. I feel despair.

Given that we haven't seen the new doctor in action yet for all we know the new clothes might perfectly suit, (pardon the pun) his new character.
Give him a chance, I say.

Like we have a choice. Expectations often lead to disappointment. Oh well. I'll forget about it for now. Dave's still got 3 eps to go

I had my doubts about Tennants outfit, until I saw it in 'action' as it were. I like the bow tie look, we'll just have to see if he can carry it off

Plus a Sarah Jane Adventures story - where he’s got a proper part, not just a walk on.

I've absolutely no opinion on Dr Who at all, but he's gonna need charisma to overcome that bow tie

I kind of get the feeling that we are getting an old man in a young man’s body (and I don’t mean that in the Jacko sense). Basically, the Time Lord is over 900 years old, but his recent regeneration makes him look 20-something. How is that going to work? They chose the guy for a reason, and the costume must surely be part of the character. Moffatt isn’t scared of decent story telling, and has written some blinding Who stories. Even though at first glance, I’m feeling that it’s a bit Pee Wee Hermann in places, I have to trust that the costume will work. They can’t afford to botch this now.
