One thing that is interesting is the arrival of Barry Collins on the "in the news" forum... :?

He did ask permission before posting.
Either he misses us or they're missing the revenue from the reduction in advertising due to having less hits.

I think it's a bit of both. They still want to drive page hits, and it's also a good way to show good faith with the former residents.

What will happen when the new Denis boards come back online? Will we stay here or drift back? What if Denis recreates the common Meeting place and Comments boards?

it took years for the pcpro forums to get an update even longer to get a Linux forum
time for the Dennis forums seems to run slower then time for us mere mortals

if they do decide to change anything it will take 5 years to decide and another 5 years before its acted upon and then they will do so without informing anybody
i will still visit the pcpro forms as i have done for years but the other forums on that site i will avoid …

I have to say that as much as I liked the "vibe" I did feel totally second class at the Dennis site. The sickly hamster and the massively intrusive adverts were a constant gripe.

This place feels nice at the moment. I hope it endures

Well we gotta keep them guessing. Cause if I went around looking like a geek. I'd ATTRACT the geeks!

Double negatives aren't always positives. Remember that folks.
