As the title says, have you guys noticed that our new meeting place seems as least as busy/active/lively as the old one even though X404 is brand new? We already have over 1000 posts, loads of members (most of which have come over from "the other side")? I guess it's because a lot of old-timers have come over but it's looking really good and I'm glad the community has stayed a live and in fact, improved. |

It is busy indeed, it will probalby settle down after a while. I am in a good mood today so I have 16 posts in three or so hours but it might change and I might not post anything for weeks. But I will always come back, I promise

It's not really surprising to find such a hubbub surrounding the launch of our rebel forum. I can see there being plenty of spamming in the race for people to become the new Mark.

I've added the URL to the flickr group, so you may get a few click-through's that way. There's also a last.fm group, but I don't have control of that one. I'm sure there are plenty of bloggers, facebookers and twitterer's to provide links/traffic.... oooo, stumbleupon! Anyone use Digg? |

Ok, I've updated the Last.fm page as best I can. We now have a link from there to here at least. I think everybody on it has already made the transition though. |

Over 120 users in less than 24 hours is extremely good going, and what with everyone chipping in to try and get the place a few more hits, we'll be overtaking the likes of the unmentionables in no time! I love it when a plan comes together. |

It's always lively at the beginning of a new board. But once all the usual topics are covered, things start to thin out. Initial popularity is good, but it's all about staying power! |
