Just got back from an awesome day of cycling. I went up to Dalby forest with a few friends and did the red route. It's the first time I've done any proper mountain biking and I loved it!
Some of the drops and jumps were awesome! I went with the intention of not holding back (too much) and I think it made the whole thing better! There were a couple of steep descents that I had to go down with the brakes on to slow it down a little but apart from that I just went for it.
The best bit for me was definitely a run of 3 step drops near the beginning. Each step was easily over 18in and I got air off each one and kept the speed going at the bottom

Wicked fun!
Makes me wanna buy a mountain bike
