http://www.guardian.co.uk/tv-and-radio/ ... tv-viewing

So we're all watching more TV apparently... I'm actually considering watching even less, as I'm starting to get a bit bored with HIGNFY (I'm starting to see a lot of the jokes coming now), and it's one of the few shows I watch

Unless Top Gear gets it's budget or genuine laughs back, I'm done with it too :(

But anyway, do you think you are watching more or less TV than you used to these days?

In no particular order, I watch...

(Some of them aren't being aired at the moment)

Top Gear
Lost
Heroes
24
Fringe
Glee
Flash Forward
The Vampire Diaries
True Blood
Supernatural
Merlin
QI
University Challenge
Only Connect (although it's rubbish)
Friday Night with Jonathan Ross
Doctor Who
Doctor Who Confidential
erm... did I forget any?

That's 17 hours a week or ... 2 hours and 25 minutes a day on average although some of those aren't airing at the moment so it works out at... 1 hour and 25 minutes a day on average.

Doctor Who is the only TV show I make an effort to see. Other than that, I might watch a bit of Ninja Warrior or Takeshi's Castle for 15 mins in the morning and that's it. I can't be bothered with a series like Lost week in week out.....if it's any good I'll rent it on DVD. Gave up on Top Gear quite a while ago and 24 after the 2nd season.

If we're gonna start doing that it'll get messy for Mark and I.

In just over four hours, I could watch 6 eps of regular 42 minute shows. So if we're talking "dream" (which seems a somewhat lofty term for televisual entertainment), probably:
Supernatural
Glee
24
Doctor Who
Lost
Fringe

But it's a tough choice and doesn't include hr long stuff like Wonders of the Solar System, Tropic of Cancer, The Pacific and the less than an hour, but longer than 42 minute shows like Dexter and True Blood. Nor does it include the only two shorter shows worth watching - How I Met Your Mother and Entourage. Hmmm.... toughy.

I'm amazed at the amount of blokes that watch Glee - just a few seconds of it makes me want to get on a flight and slap everyone involved

What I make an effort to watch (as in have it set to record) is

QI
Heroes (although now finished)
FastForward (although have a backlog of these so may delete them)
Dr Who
V
Warehouse 13
The odd film here and there – either as its one I want to see or more often one I think might be really naff (late night Zombie films on Zone Horror) but can record and then fastforward / delete as needed

Watching on the daily commute at the moment – The Shield (it also saves on book buying!)

Right now I can't even start to work out all that I watch on TV in a week.

Bella Block
Stubbe
Die Bulle von Tolz
Tatort
Kommisarin Lucas
Lafer! Lichter! Lecker
Tatort

Well over 4 hours, but I probably watch one of those a week. Not often I get to sit in front of the TV.

I haven't. Just picked my 4hrs 18mins which is by no means definitive. I watch far too much television to seriously consider a post of Oli's nature right now. Just finished work and I couldn't possibly think. So I'm probably gonna watch some TV.

The only thing on TV I make an effort to watch right now is Doctor Who.

I was following Heroes, but I kept forgetting and ended up so far behind I couldn't catch up. There was something else on Sunday night, but I can't remember what it was now. Maybe I'm thinking of Being Human.

The g/f watches Lost so I watch that every week. Other than that I dont watch anything on a weekly basis.

There's lots of stuff I enjoy to watch but nothing I must watch, I tend to have it on in the background though.
