I know it's been around for a while but I've just discovered how truly epic it is!
I saw a TED talk by the guy who created it (Mr. Wolfram) and he was talking about how they wanted to try and make it as all knowing as possible. Even to the point of parsing natural language questions.
Given the story in the news board RE the sniper I wondered what effective area this guy had to aim at over 1.5 miles away.
I put this into Wolfram Alpha...
"radius = 1.5miles, length of arc = 6feet, angle = ?"
and it gave me this...
