Given that some 40% of the population have apparently changed their minds in the last week, I thought it would be interesting to take a sample of how people have actually voted in this election, and to compare it to the poll for a few weeks ago.

General rule, you can only put an entry in once you've actually cast your vote.

I voted by post several days ago.

I voted Lib Dem in both General and Council Elections.

I want a hung Parliament, a coalition and a change to voting.

LibDem.

I'd have voted for a true independent if one had stood. Of course, it would have been me as the independent, but circumstances conspired against me this time.

There is always 2015. Hopefully you will still want to run then.

Chose not to. Short of a major change in general politics over here, or a 'None of the above' option appearing, I may never again...

Voted at 7 this morning. There was a little bit of a queue and the folk int he polling station seemed to be having a little difficulty finding names on the list.
Ah well, it all worked out in the end.
MP and local council elections, although I was somewhat dismayed by the choices for the local council (Con, English Dem & Labour). Still, I guess that's what happens in rediculously safe council seat.

I wanted to vote for our previous Labour MP, but I didn't want to vote for his party.

I should have voted Lib-Dem and this may well have seen Labour win with the other two a joint second. Instead, I voted Conservative. At least my conscience will be clear if, by some miracle, we get another five years of Gordon.

I wonder what the chances are that any of the party leaders will read this in the next 3 hours?

If so can I just state that it's not too late. If you want my vote publicly state that you WILL abolish the off side rule and it's yours. Not too much to ask, is it?

Thanks,

John.

There is someone standing under a name like that somewhere. He changed it by deed poll and says he will not be taking his seat if elected.

I find it really interesting how on facebook 40% of people who took part in the poll (and I assume it's millions) voted LibDem.

IIRC the tories were back on 20%, but then when I went to my local polling station I remembered where they get all their support. Of the roughly ten people, I was the youngest by at least 50 years!
